I studied and learned stain glass from a
master cathedral restoration specialist David Saunders in Sydney,
Australia when I was 16. He wanted me to apprentice to him, but I
went to film school instead and became a film/television director.
Glass has been a passion for as long as I could remember and did classes
all around the world – wherever my television or film work took me.
Photography was a little longer, as I was always taking photographs, but
that was the world of both my father and brother, so I’m a late
“bloomer”. My father is a world class artist/photography with
memberships to prestigious art societies worldwide and I think a lot of
my artistry comes from him. I love to design glass including
fused pieces and also have an endless passion for photography that
includes wildlife, pets and landscapes.
