“When
I photograph, I am free. I am the land, the river, and the tree. I am
the frame and the art is inside me.” My interest in photography has been with me for a long time. My Mother, an avid gardener, passed away in 2003. I used my images to create a memorial of her work.
I gradually became obsessed with my camera and life's images. By 2005 I had become very serious about photography traveling around the country with one purpose in mind, to photograph and attend educational workshops. I love to travel and use my images as a way to document my adventures. I've been in the horse business all my life so it was natural for me to turn to Equine Photography. My knowledge of horses helps me to fulfill my creative vision of the natural world around me. My hope is that my images express my passion. My goal is to relate my love of nature and God's blessings to others through my work. I strive to see and learn something new every day. My studio surrounds me wherever I go.
