2011 Gingerbread Workshop at the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center
Hall - December 8, 2011

The holidays and the Madison Artists Guild are the perfect partners in the 10th annual Gingerbread Workshop to be held at the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center Hall.  The Guild has been making this magical evening possible for ten years and it just gets better and better!

Thursday, December 8th at 6 pm the Hall will be transformed into a holiday Fun Factory where kids and parents will construct fantastic "gingerbread" houses from small recycled boxes, frosting, candy, and tons of other artistic "building" materials.  Mrs. Santa and her team of Teen Elves will direct the whole show and orchestrate an evening of excitement and creativity that will become a family tradition for years to come.  At just the perfect time The Snow Queen will descend from her mythical Ice Palace to dust the incredible creations with her magical glistening snow as the evening draws to a twinkling conclusion.

This is the most affordable holiday event you'll ever enjoy at only $15 per house built (two kids may work on one house together if you like).  Guild members in good standing pay $13 per house.  Pre-registration is required and you'll be able to do that at the Guild Cottage at Town Park, 248 W. Jefferson Street, Madison.  The Cottage is open Wed. - Sat. 11:00 am till 4:30 pm and Sunday 1 - 5 pm.

The Guild is very excited to once again partner with the Cultural Center as the venue sponsor in this magical holiday event and is grateful to our materials sponsors - Ingle's Grocery and Antique Sweets on the square.  To donate building materials or your time please visit our website or call Karen Strelecki at 706-752-0137.
